Santa Fe Super Chief B Unit

Modeled after the cabless B units used on Santa Fe’s Super Chief, this locomotive was designed to add extra power behind the lead F7A on the railroad’s premier Chicago-to-Los Angeles passenger train. The B unit was a key part of the matched diesel consists that powered the Super Chief across the Southwest.
