Modeled after Santa Fe’s C44-9W locomotives from the Super Fleet era, this engine represents the modern freight version of the railroad’s famous Warbonnet look. These locomotives became closely associated with Santa Fe’s high-priority intermodal trains across the Southwest and its busy transcontinental routes, making this a favorite for fans of ATSF and 1990s western railroading.
