Modeled after Canadian National GP38 locomotives in the striped scheme, this engine is inspired by the road-switchers used for local freight, yard work, and branch-line service across CN’s network. The striped paint treatment reflects an earlier Canadian National diesel-era look and gives this version a different appearance from CN’s later standard schemes.
