Modeled after Santa Fe SD70 locomotives in the Warbonnet scheme, this engine combines the railroad’s classic red-and-silver identity with the larger, high-horsepower profile of a modern road locomotive. It reflects Santa Fe’s transition from iconic passenger styling into the heavy freight era of the 1990s.
