Modeled after CSX autoracks, this freight car is inspired by the tall enclosed cars used to move new automobiles across CSX routes throughout the eastern United States. Their multi-level design allows large numbers of vehicles to move by rail between assembly plants, distribution centers, and major markets.
Handcrafted by real railfans, our wooden trains are designed as durable, child-friendly toys made for years of play and often treasured as keepsakes and heirlooms. While safety and durability always come first in our designs, each piece is still inspired by the look and spirit of the real train.
