Modeled after EWS coal wagons, this freight car is inspired by the heavy bulk wagons used to move coal across the United Kingdom. Its EWS markings tie it to the post-British Rail freight era, when long unit trains of coal wagons were a common sight serving power stations and industrial customers.
Handcrafted by real railfans, our wooden trains are designed as durable, child-friendly toys made for years of play and often treasured as keepsakes and heirlooms. While safety and durability always come first in our designs, each piece is still inspired by the look and spirit of the real train.
- Track Compatibility: Compatible with Brio, Thomas Wooden Railway, and other major wooden train track systems
- Safety: Non-toxic paints and finishes
