Hapag-Lloyd Single Stack

Modeled after Hapag-Lloyd intermodal container cars, this single-stack freight car is inspired by the equipment used to move ocean containers between ports, rail terminals, and inland destinations.

Unlike our double-stack cars, the container on this model is glued into the frame and is not removable.

Handcrafted by real railfans, our wooden trains are designed as durable, child-friendly toys made for years of play and often treasured as keepsakes and heirlooms. While safety and durability always come first in our designs, each piece is still inspired by the look and spirit of the real train.
