Southern Pacific C44 Diesel Engine

Modeled after Southern Pacific C44 diesel locomotives, this engine is inspired by the high-horsepower freight power used across SP’s western network in the 1990s. Its role on long-haul freight through California, the Southwest, and mountain territory makes it closely tied to the final years of Southern Pacific before the Union Pacific merger.
