Unpainted GP38 + Hopper + Caboose 3pc Set

This unpainted wooden train set containing a GP38, 3" hopper, and 3" caboose, is fully assembled, ready-to-roll, and can be left natural or customized. It is made from kiln-dried white birch or hard maple, with no paint, stain, clear coat, or other treatment, just the natural hardwood. We use hardwood because it holds its shape well during manufacturing and is built to stand up to years of play.

Each car is assembled before it leaves our shop, with the body securely glued, excess glue sanded away, the wood buffed smooth, and the wheels installed. Because the wood is left natural, grain, color, and texture will vary from piece to piece.

Paint is not included so families can choose the type of finish that works best for them, from washable paints to more permanent options. If decorating, we recommend using certified child-safe paints and brushes.
